Are you captivated by bees and keen to start your beekeeping journey? Our Beekeeping Association is the perfect place for you! We are a warm and welcoming community of beekeepers who are passionate about sharing knowledge, encouraging newcomers, and supporting each other in this wonderful hobby. Whether you're an experienced beekeeper or a complete beginner, we’d love for you to join us.

Why Join Us?

Our winter meetings begin in October, making it the ideal time to get involved. You’ll have the chance to learn, gather knowledge, and connect with our members so that by spring, you’ll be ready to start with your own colony. Our meetings are held monthly from October to April in Milngavie, with exact details confirmed nearer the time. These gatherings are a fantastic opportunity to meet other beekeepers, ask questions, and discover what we’re all about.

During the beekeeping season, we keep the community spirit alive with occasional pub meet-ups and a special summer meeting at a volunteer’s apiary. We also run a lively WhatsApp group, buzzing with daily chat. It’s a great place to get quick help, guidance, and share experiences with fellow members.

Membership Details

Membership is just £10 a year, making it affordable to be part of a supportive and knowledgeable community. As a member, you’ll have access to all our meetings, events, and the WhatsApp group. There are a few simple rules and a membership form to fill out, but we’ll guide you through this once you’ve decided to join.
